Its time to say good bye!
Its time to say good bye!
I had to make a tough decision. Now that I'm tournament fishing alot more and traveling more, its time to sell the L. Not very happy about it, I really need a diesel if I'm going to make long trips pulling my bass boat. Anyone know of a low mileage 05 or newer F250 lariat for sale? trade? This is my 34th vehicle and only the second one I think I'm gonna miss. I just can't justify having two trucks in the driveway.

If you can Justify owning a Boat, (and the crazy money + upkeep they are)why not 1 Truck and 1 Lightning "CAUSE A LIGHTNING AINT NO DAM TRUCK"
It's Looks Speed and Comfort all packaged into one kick *** looking ....
(ok maybe I can see why some say truck here, but it's not a truck got dam it)
Ok Rant over
I got a better idea, instead of selling what you know you'll regret, and buying what you know you will lose at least (lets say 20-30K over the next 5 yrs)
wouldnt it be better to put a built motor and a Big Bad SC on the L and have more Tq than you'll ever need
Just a suggestion.....
Either way Best of Luck to You
Well, "she's off like a prom dress". I'm sure I will still lurk here. Many "Thanks" to Rob, Suavy and everyone else that had any input on the times that I had a question or concern. I found an 06 F250 CC 4x4 Lariat with 15k miles that I could not pass on. I'm sure in a few years I'll be back in the Ford performance side some where and still have the F250. Just at a point in my life when saving for a true no work retirement at age 50 takes priority.
Thanks again
Dave
