I have talked to Mark @ LFP and he stated that the LFP throttle body has improved upon the design of the Accufab, with a slightly larger bore and less issues of sticking open.

My accufab has served me very well for 4 years. Never had any sticking problems. I know a lot of guys with them, and this is the first I have heard of them sticking open.

I can see them sticking closed if they are not adjusted right, but if you have the return spring installed, I don't see them sticking open.

I remember when I did some work on my truck a long time ago, I forgot to put the return spring back on, and never had a problem with it. A few weeks later I was doing some more work, and found the spring sitting by the rubber seal where the hood shuts.

I agree with Don, while some have had issues my Accufab has given me zero problems for the past 4 years, I'm sure Marks throttle body is a fine piece but with either your not going to gain a ton of power 3-5 HP and better throttle response. Good luck, T

i spoke to mark also and he said lfp sbtb did not cause any idle problems like other sbtb on the market. same info as pitstain also. i may get one soon just for the throttle response. i have driven svt_ky's truck and he has a accufab sbtb. i really like the throttle response compared to my stock tb. the response is quicker.

I've run one since they came out no probs here! (accufab)
the idle issue seems to be the blade stick open if the return springs get weak and or the blade gets some oil in it.

Seen this on a few occasions.

I have the LFP throttle body and my only complaint is that once you let off the gas it takes a little longer for your rpms to drop back down but it's only by an extra second or so. Overall I'm happy with it.
