Post Experience these problems yet?

Anyone out there have there power window bind up half way down. Dealer says it's from the window tint? Can't be, the window will slow down, bind and crackle.

Also noticed a crack in the paint on the outside driver door window, above the door handle right where the "vertical" molding runs up the window. "WIERD"

Third, my electro-Luminis... whatever backlight display went out on the speedo and tach. but not the others?

FordPlay-
Can't say much about two of your problems, but the "door cracks" are common knowledge. I don't have time to search right now, but if you use that little "search" button on the top right of the screen you can dig through the site archives. "Door Cracks" would be the best key words (I think that's what we called 'em). Sometime around last Spring there was a big thread about it.

BTW-If you find the thread, can you post someting on it to birng it back up to the top of the forum. There are some new 2K owners that might find this interesting. Thanks.

I had the "doorcrack". The dealerreplace the entire door, using all my stuff that goes on it. Then the window bound up half way. They blamed it on a bad spot weld from the factory that made the door.

Hey FordPlay, My instrument cluster has been out for almost 3 months now. The entire gauge cluster must be replaced and mine has been back ordered for many weeks. Several people reported the same problem back in July. Good Luck

PFA, it cant be the plant where they assemble them.. No it cant be.. I work at that plant, and with all the highly educated people there who work so hard, never leave early, and are always there on every work day, it is hard to believe there would be any quality issues what so ever. Now that the sarcasm is out, I do believe it. Its a bad joke at that plant, and things just keep getting worse. Quality is checked not on every rack of panels, or completed doors, but every couple hours when the inspector has to sit out from the card game. Tonight I seen a rack of parts get shipped out that had a scrap tag on it, but that tag ended up in the trash because the parts were HOT!
Its a shame.
