Cool Do you think this will fit?

I found this while searching through the Saleen site. Do you think anyone will try to fit this into a Lightning?!? (maybe a new mod for FORDSALES)

It's a 427c.i.d. (7.0 liter) all-aluminum V-8. The induction system is as follows: Roof intake feeding twin 80mm mass air meters feeding carbon fiber plenum. Magnesium oval bore throttle body (longitudinally mounted). Intake manifold: magnesium w/ 8 individual runners. HP:550hp@6400rpm, Torque:525ft-lbs@4000rpm

All kidding aside, take a look at the new Saleen S7 at http://www.saleen.com/auto/S7/S7.htm

That's a sweet engine for a car, in a lightning it would not help as much. Maybe mid 12's not enough to do all that work. better to mod what we have! Lloyd

Thumbs down

The saleen S7 ran in the American LeMans series just a few days ago. The car went out during the first 30 minutes due to engine and transmission failure.

Not such a good showing.

Cool

FORDSALES,

lol.......I think you may have to cut a hole in your hood to fit that engine in!

A co-worker of mine e-mailed you about a price for a new Explorer. I didn't know if you were in the business anymore. I got my truck from you back in March of '98 and told him what a great guy you were.

Thanks,
Steve
