Arrow gonna get a few things fixed.

took my truck to a local non svt dealership today.
i have the clunk, the drivers side seat rip, and a back window seal issue.

got them to call Jack Doss on the tech line.
dealership says that there is a bulletin about the clunk, and has ordered the correct bolts to fix it.
they are gonna replace the back glass to fix the seal. (now i need new stickers!)
they are also going to fix my drivers side seat..

i'll post the part numbers if anyone needs them. (i dont have them yet)

oh, has anyone had problems with the rear glass seal?

Don't have problems with the rear seal, but I am interested in the part #s once you get a chance...

Good luck, hope it doesn't take long.

clonetek.....

I too had a leaking seal on my slider window...First, and VERY IMPORTANT....make sure they replace it with a OEM piece...

I went to pick my L up from the dealer after they had replaced the slider, and as soon as they pulled up with it, something didn't look right. The window looked different. Upon further inspection, I noticed a metal trim piece between the glass and where the normal thick plastic trim piece was. I thought to myself, "Hmm, I don't remember it looking like that." So, I told "Homer" that I didn't think that this is the correct slider, he of course assured me that it was. Well, luckily, I noticed that they had a black 2000 L in the lot, so I checked it out...Sure enough...totally different, they had given me a crappy aftermarket product!! I ripped into the supervisor about this one...I'm sure they can get away with that on an F-150 work truck or something, but not on a limited production work of art like our L's. Needless to say, I got the correct window put in, but then had to take it back a week later when I noticed that they didn't etch the vin # in the new glass.

Sorry for the long post, but it hit home, and just wanted to warn you about what I went though.

I have a rear window seal that looks like it is gonna pop out at any time (on the left and right upper corners). I don't have the "clunk" but have noticed the movement of the bolt as is evidenced by plenty of scraped paint. Please e-mail me also with the part numbers for the correct bolts or lower control arms. Thanks.
