Rhino Liner or ????
I had the Rhino liner in my last truck and it was ok. It was hard to slide things around in the bed, which could be good or bad and it got pretty cut up over time. It really comes down to what you haul in your L. If you are hauling dirt and such the Rhino would be a way to go. If you are looking to provide some protection to the bed and you aren't hauling stuff that can get messy then the BedRug works pretty well. I have the BedRug in my L and I really like it. You can take it out if you need to, unlike a spray in liner. You can move stuff around pretty easily. Something to think about is once the Rhino liner is in there it's pretty darn hard to take it out.

I was thinknig of getting a bed rug and had some questions.
Are they hard to install? You said that you can take them out if you want. How hard is that? It it make a difference if I have the stock bed cover on the truck or do I need to go with a hard one to keep it dry? About how much do they cost and who makes a good one?
Thanks for any help

Y2K_BOLT - Here's the info:

I paid right around $300 for mine, installed. They're available from lots of places.
John893 - Easy to install and take out. The bottom zips out and you can leave the sides in or you can take the sides out as well. I don't know of any reason it won't work with the factory cover. Unless you plan to sleep on it, letting it get wet isn't that big of a deal.

I would reccommend a bed rug or bed liner. And as one post stated that the hauling material plays into the decision also. One thing that steered me away from the spray on is that I was told that to do it right, the truck bed had to be sanded down to the metal. Now I had two different installers tell me this so if it ain't so then I would like to know, but I had a problem with someone being turned aloose with a sanding machine in the bed of my 30,000 dollar truck. so i went with a Pinda Bed Liner and have been quite pleased. I have had them in all my trucks because they are absolutely the best bed liner out there.
But just my two cents.

I bought the Bedrug. It's a real easy install. It does take a little over an hour and one beer. You just want to be sure to get the paint really clean for the Velcro adhesive. I think it looks way better than any other liner, but that's just my opinion.
I got a price quote from CA concepts for a liner for 370 shipped. This seems expnsive. They're in LA and I'm in SF. Anyone have ideas where I can get one cheap? The one for my 94 cost arund 250 when
I got it in 95.

I have a Ford/ Duraliner bedliner in mine that came with it when I bought it. It has a decent sized Ford logo on the front, which looks nice, and still retains use of the tie-down anchors at the bottom corners of the bed (which I need to carry my bike in the back). As for what it costs after point of purchase of your L, I'm not sure, but I think it is an OEM accessory that any local Ford dealer (even non SVT) should be able to get for you.

I also got a spray Line-x. It is permenant.
But, it looks great, weighs only 40-50#'s and is tough. The navy is starting to use their material on sub decks. If the installer does his job right, he takes all your hooks and bolts out first, then reinstalls. Cost me $375.00 and 5 hours of no truck. I was very pleased with the outcome.
