I'm no tech but, I have had it done more than a few times. If you hit the rev limiter, the boost bypass opens up and drops all of it. This will last for about 15 seconds and you'll get it back. All cylinders still fire, your just running a 5.4 now.

Just unplug your solenoid and all will be cool I found when this Used to happen to me, I could just slip her in neutral and rev her up a little and all would be well.....

Post Techy Rev-Limiter Question!

once the rev limiter is triggered what happens? does it knock out cylinders for a certain amount of time or what? I notice that if i get into the rev limiter that for about 10 seconds afterwards i cant produce positive boost...just me?
