Yeah... so just go for ease of ordering:

Call AIM at: 480 668-5448 & order part number: SHA-F09700A. $60ish dollars, you'll have them in a couple days. Couldn't be easier.

Big ol hairy parts number discussion here: https://www.f150online.com/f150board...ML/002113.html

Good luck...

Hey afj00svt,

If you want to see an L in person that's been lowered 2", you're welcome to come up here to Allen and check mine out.

I don't know where in Dallas you live, but I'm just north of Plano.

I just might take you up on that WA!
I live in DeSoto, a few miles south of Downtown Dallas.
Do you have chrome Lightning wheels on your '99? I'm trying to find a place around here that will trade me a chrome set for mine + cash....kind of like the Santa Ana thing.

Oh, ok. Desoto would be a bit of a trek for you. Just let me know though!

I do not have chrome wheels. You might call Dallas Mustang, although I refuse to shop there. They might have some, but won't trade you for yours...I'm sure of that.

what ever you do don't use AIM, i know there are others that will back me up, c'mon people. try summit, their house brand is GROUND FORCE and you won't get screwed. believe me many people including myself have been screwed by AIM or chassis tech one in the same. or try bell tech you can also get them from summit,or DJM or WESTERN.

Question

I want to drop the front slightly when I do the 2" drop to the back. What springs should I use for the front to drop it 1"?

I dropped my "99" L with Belltech front
spings 2" and rear leaf front perches. That
gives a very good stance but is pretty low
in back. I should of got 3" drop coils for the front and it would of been perfect. I had
the Belltech rear shackles but took them off
as it was to low in the rear. Works good and have 24000 on the job. No problems so far.

How low did the Belltech shackles drop the rear?
