East / West Shoot Out?
What became of the East/West Dante/JDM Shoot Out? I see that LACR has been rented Feb 10 for Lightnings. Is this going to happen?

I know there's no tuner shoot out, dont know about anything else....
Either way it's always great to see an all Lightning event unfold like this, unfortunately I dont have it like that to up and leave for days on end for these way out of State events, but I can tell you going to a JDM Day with @100 Lightnings is the funniest day of the year for me.
When ever you can get to the track with a lot of L's together it's truly magic.....

unfortunatly i have more then a few tickets for sale,,,,,renting a track out aint cheap. i set this up cause jim from jdm told me on the phone if i paid his way and his lodging he would come. he told me this three days in a row. each day he had another demand,,,,i said yes to everyone one of them. he was suposed to bring his own personal truck!!!!!
the last conversation i had with him,,,,was that he didnt want to race at lacr,,,,,even though early he stated he would race anyone anywhere
he also said he wanted to talk with dante,,,and he did not want to talk with me anymore. dante told me he called him 4 times and jim was to busy to take the callfor those that dont remember,,,,the suposed show down begain when jim said that he wasnt impressed with ant other power adder as he was with the whipple,,,,,,i reminded him of dante's run at fontana ffw and we got real close to having a real nice race
since fontana is not a points race,,,,maybe jim could make it a heads up race,,,and bring his truck of course

why not
if you guys were willing to pay for Jim to come to Cali, here's and idea.
Why don't you guys come ut to JDM day, race one of the faster tracks......in the fall.....in Jim's own back yard.
If Jim won't come to you, go to him.
If you want it bad enough, make it happen. You have about 9 months to prepare. If it's long enough to pop out a f'n kid, it's long enough to plan to race.
