Those running breathers

Has anyone had a brownish white substance in the oul filler neck and in the breather tubes. I put breathers on and removed pcv system about 2 weeks ago. Took the oil cap off today and found this caked in the neck and on the cap. Looks like oily whipped cream. I was thinkin there wasnt enough ventilation and the oil was foaming up and collecting here. Any input???

Cool

HI!... It's called condensation. Every vehicles gets it at one time or another. Cold engine, start engine, run engine = condensation.

Ditto it is condensation, common to lots of short trips, take it on the highway for an hour or two and it should deminish. you should see the amount that builds up on my GF's VW Golf, she drives it 3 blocks to school and back for weeks straight without a highway trip, it's murder on her battery as well.

Thanks for all the input. I was just worried cause it started when i put the breathers on. I do run about 2 miles a day to school and work! Ive been running the same trip for about 8 months though with the pcv system and had no condensation.

well the breathers allow more moist air to circulate into the motor now....give it a good long drive and it'll be happy.
