Ill buy the game, and only use the Lightning. I wonder if they included the supercharger whine....

 

Can't be a 99, must be a 2000 (it's silver).

I just saw the add for Test Drive 6 on the playstation. It says that the 99 lightning is one of the drivable cars. Also, kinda funny, there seems to be a lack of Chevy cars & trucks. go figure....

Not the best job of modeling for sure. But, its certainly a 99. Check out the black mirrors. The mirrors changed to color-keyed for 2k.
Also, the web site mis-spells Lightning as Litening.

Hey guys I have that game I bought a Sega Dreamcast just to play it. It kicks butt! The Lightning is awesome in there, and you can give it a custom color.

They also have the Super Stallion, I think a Saleen too. You take on different challenges and races and win money to buy more cars or modify the ones you have. You can also lose money of course.

You can slowly build up a real nice garage, I currently have a Lightning and a Super Stallion. My Lightning (manual tranny) is fully modified and will kick the stock Super Stallion's butt. Each car really feels different, and the graphics for the Dreamcast version are awesome. You can smoke the tires, lose traction if you accelerate too fast, and even leave black streaks on the road.

I use a racing wheel with accel. and brake pedals and the wheel actually shakes if you go on a bumpy road or hit against something.

I own Test Drive 6 for the PC. The Lightning is awesome. The reason the 99 is silver is it has a paint shop you can paint yours any shade of color. I campaigned mine in yellow Unfortunately after you win the first class you have to leave the lightning behind and go with a saleen or super stallion. hah!

took it back & got it for playstation.
its pretty fun.. i have the cheat codes for it, if anyone needs them. (pc & playstation)

Boy the Playstation is really starting to look bad compared to current PC graphics. I can hardly believe the difference. I know the Playstation 2 is almost out, but does it look better than this? Check out this link to see what I am talking about.

This is the PC version of NASCAR Heat, with a Geforce video card. I think these shots are at 800x600 res, on my rig I run it at 1280x1024, so it's even better than this shot.
