Darryl, If you don't find a better rate, I could transport it for you on a flatbed tow truck, (guaranteed safe) for about $550. I can bring it tommorow if you want! I am fully insured with new equipment. I have posted a topic about towing the L's. Thanx, Lloyd

Wouldn't it cost the same to fly down and drive it back. Try to avoid loading and unloading it. Geez I think I'd walk that distance so no one else could touch it.

Darryl,

Being from Indy, let me offer some advise.

Dude, hop on a SW commuter flight to Indy, rent a econo-box, drive 1 hour to Bloomington, and pick it up yourself.

--OR--

Buy a bud a case of really good brew and road trip it.... beer delivery after you get home of course.

Nothing like breaking in your new L on a 5 hour drive back home on a fall day.

IMHO, not worth the risk to have it couriered. Too many things can go wrong.
[offer from LSChicago notwithstanding]

Congrads on your purchase.

Cool

Darryl, Just come on down and get it. I live in Bloomington and would be glad to help you in any way. It's not too bad of a drive, I've made it many times myself as I used to live in NW Indiana

When you get your L let us know. If you live in West Chicago, I'm probably the closest L owner to you. I want to make sure you get together with the rest of us at our next ILLNESS club outing.

Lightning Bob

P.S. I watched Lloyd unload his black L off of his flatbed Sunday at Byron. I would trust him to haul my own truck, even though he has no taste in color.

I beg your pardon Bob,

Lloyd has excellent taste in color, both on his L and his hauler. Black is beatiful...right Lloyd??!!

WOW!....I live in Terre Haute, IN...60miles from Bloomington. They had (2) '00 L'Bolts
last week. I bought the black one, and it seems as though you just got the white one. Way cool....it's a great looking ride....you'll be very impressed. Good Luck!

Considering that I never owned a red vehicle, I'd have to say IMHO black is far sharper Bob. I have 2 Black tow trucks, 1 Black lightning, 1 Black Cutlass, & today I bought a Black & silver Bronco2 (for a winter beater). Oh, My aurora is white. I had to break tradition once! Lloyd
