Thumbs up want to order the L Mats?

I was told by Haig Industries today that they do not sell to individuals. But because they have set up an account with me with Ford’s approval, they will order and ship a Lightning Mat only if I place the order and at the group-purchase-price.

I think one of the reasons that they won't do individuals is because they have an approval by Ford indicating that I am allowed to have the Logo on our mats and they can use the L Logo only under certain situations and Haig Industries does not want to get in deep trouble from Ford by selling L mats with the logo to others.

Before I worked out all the Logo stuff with Haig & Ford, I had talked to another mat co. and I was told by them that they have to pay Ford $60.00 for every mat sold by them for the use of the Logo. This $60.00 goes on top of the cost of every mat order. That is the cost of the mat + shipping and then another $60.00 for Ford.

So my guess is, they are afraid that Ford could come back on them for $60.00 for every mat sold to someone else.

Plus, I know they do only sell to auto dealers and re-sellers.

So, if you do want a set of mats, go to the following LINK for ordering info.
But before going over to the link, you might want to scroll down to see pictures of what the mats look like.

And I'll contact Haig Industries and get your order working.

Hey Jim, any word on the mats that were waiting on the bigger metal grommet for the mat holder?

Just curious since you were up there?

Thanks!
Eric

Thumbs up

Mr. STV

All mats waiting for the eyelet, except the mat going to Canada, was shipped Friday. You should be getting yours at anytime.

Post a note here when it arrives. I like to know how things are going out there.

Thanks, Noel

I really need to hear this.

I thought that I was almost done but at least it will only be an order that I have to send to Haig Ind. every once in a while. Not like the mass confusion of over 70 all at once. Now I can relax about the quality, how they are going to come out, is Haig a good company, etc., etc.

Terry and Edward,

received both orders. I faxed them to Haig this morning. Now that Haig has the logo already made, etc., etc. It won't take a couple months like the group-purchase did. Yours should be made and shipped some time maybe this week or the first of next.

I have a brilliant idea for a Mr. Shaw's new screen name.

Nigel

I truly hope not.

I would rather have name like "Newest-Millionaire-L-Owner" or something like that because that is what it takes to get and try out all the mods that L owners come up with.

Cool

Nice mats, does it ever end!
toys for the L, models of the L,etc etc.
Guess I'll have to save a few more for the L new mats!
Hey Fordsales how's your air guage doing? I was reading your post on your boost guage and posted a "late" reply. I'm a little "electronically trained kinda guy", LOL.
