Cool

Purchased 7/99, mileage 26,700. Drive it every day! Some replies, man you drive that thing? That's why I bought it! LOL. Just think.... come re-build time, 30 over, heads worked, little more boost, little more fuel and air.... can anyone say 500HP+ Gotta love it.

8100 miles minus 5 miles from the factory = 8095 miles since 6/13/00.

Just turned 30000 miles this morning on the way to work. Bought June, 1999. Warranty will probably be out by the end of the year. Time to buy the extended warranty.

A big 1700 miles here since delivery on 5/31/00. A job that has you on the road all the time, plus super-human restraint when home (no commuter duty for my baby) will do that.

Also, the wife isn't allowed to touch it, look at it, or even think about it when I'm away. I've let her back it out of the garage a couple times, but "no touching the throttle".

Talking

AND THE WINNER IS?
33,000 Miles and a lot of fun.
Can't seem to keep it parked, we don't argue, never talks back and always puts a smile on my face!

I've had my L since mid April 2000 and have just over 11,000 miles on it. I never seem to keep vehicles long. I can't imagine not having a Lightning.

Silver_Y2K,

Your Lightning is much like my favorite guitar. The one with the ole tagger on it that can never be played.....
