Finally came today after a 3 week wait. Then I rejected it for a major gouge from the center all the way to the edge on the drivers side. It went almost all the way through the top of the hood. Other than that, it was a piece of art. Real nice finish and quality work.

Not something that happened during shipping either, box was in excellent condition and the hood could not have gotten gouged that deep or long while in the box. Had to happen and the factory/plant. Kind of surprised me with the quality of the hood that they would let it go like that. Looks like another 3+ week wait for another one. Will call tomorrow and get some answers.

Tampabay Now I see what you are talking about after looking at the hood. Your pic has the light from your ceiling reflecting on your hood just above the scoop and the camera flash reflecting off your covers, that's why I ask what I did. Maybe next time you should ease off on the "Get Real" comments.

What pi$$ed me off was that the information was directed to "Those With Cervinis Hoods". Anyone with these hoods knew what I was showing them.

I got a "What are we looking at?
Is that a light that sticks out of the hood?
Is is supposed to shine out of the ram air ducts?" from you.

Like I would take the time out of my night to show you some light on my hood? It was the flash from the camera...


Look, I've been on this board for 1 1/2 years. I've spent thousands of hours building a show-quality Lightning. I've spent just as many hours on this board learning and letting everyone else in on my projects.

Enjoy the hood when you get it. Nice choice.

I just don't know if I enjoy this place anymore.

Tampa...Ya got one of the best lookin trucks on the board, plus it's red. Keep posting and showing off all those mods, we all need more ideas to spend our money on.

 

If everyone reads that post, I did say . I did't know that the hoods came without the inserts. That would have explained everything. I didn't get it, you could have explained it like you did to BlkSVTTruck that posted after me (oh, and he doesn't have a Cervine hood either) instead of giving me that remark. Its that simple.
