Question New Lightning owner with questions...

Hello my fellow SVT brethren! I just purchased a 2000 Lightning over the weekend...LOVE IT!!! Anyway, I was wondering what should be the first mod for the truck? New MAF, K&N, etc. Also, I didn't get the tonneu cover option because I thought it sat too high on the bed....any opinions on other covers? Thanks for any and all responses!

For once I will agree with Jim on going to the FAQ questions first, simply because there is so much information that you can get relatively quick. If I had it to do all over again, I would get the MAF with chip calibrated for it. As you can see, I do not have a MAF but that is because I got the chip first and can't send it back because the owner has AWOL from his business for a while. I have the Johnny Lightning Ram Air and am very happy with it, he sells a complete kit (chip, ramair for PRO-M) that I wish I would have bought had he offered at the time. Best advise, plan ahead!! get all the advise you can and plan out a good system that will work good together. Jeff

The first time that Jim welcomes a new Lightning Owner and DOES'T mention the F&Q's, I'am buying a new set of mats for my bitch. OK OK OK, I'll get some.
