Windshield Crack
Got in my L for a quick spin (between downpours) and darn, noticed a crack about midway in the windshield starting at the bottom. Couldn't remember any rock encounters, so looked for evidence of a strike and could find none. Has anyone had a windshield problem (wondering if it is a presssure crack or defect)?

I have cracked a few windshields lately, but none in my truck. I tried the"Windshield Doctor", but was not happy with the results so I paid the $100.00 deduct. and had it replaced.

Are you sure it's a crack? If you press on it does it start getting longer? In all seriousness, if it's not big (yet) try ultrabond http://www.ultrabond.com/dealers/index.htm
I wouldn't make any high speed runs with it cracked. The incredible pressures on it makes you wonder what keeps it from breaking at 130-140MPH when it's intact.

Here's a picture of the Lightning in question.
I hope you don't mind Mark.
I never heard about this problem. Not even the problem with the OD swith as stated in Trunckin' Magazine.
