Arrow Check your supercharger oil

I just found this while perusing the shop manual (yes I know- how pathetic, sitting at home on a Friday night reading a shop manual):

----------
The supercharger has a self-contained oiling system that does not require a fluid change for the life of the vehicle. However, at every 30,000 mile interval, the supercharger fluid level should be checked. The vehicle should be parked on a level surface, the engine cool, and not funning. To check the oil, remove the Allen head plug located at the front of the supercharger. The oil level should be at the bottom of the fill plug threads when cold. If the fluid level is low, add Synthetic Supercharger Fluid E9SZ-19577-A or equivalent meeting Ford specification ESE-M99C115-A
----------

I don't remember seeing this in the owner's manual maintenance schedule or the Lightning supplement. To find this out, you have to buy the rather expensive shop manual and find it buried in the "Intake Air Distribution and Filtering / Diagnosis and Testing" section.

The shop manual is $200 and the wiring diagram is $60. Don't get the $6 SVT Supplement, I thought that would contain all the L specific differences, but it's really just that cheesy 15 page Owner's Guide Supplement that comes with the truck.

A 13.01, Dogleg?

Seems that having the moon on the right end of the track would give you that extra .02 needed to break 12's.

(Nice runnin)

Mark_2kL:

Also buffoned out and order the "cheesy" SVT supplement which does come with the L. Got it right away. Ordered the shop manual at the same time, but haven't seen as of yet. How long did it take to receive yours?

All mine arrived in the same box. I don't remember for sure (was months ago), but I don't think it took much longer than a week.
