Arrow Pillar Pod just arrived, again

The 2 pillar pod mount arrived for the second time. This time there is a pretty good color match. I inserted the gauges into the gauge holes and they fit perfect.

I then took off the factory pillar plastic and replaced it with Lo-Tek’s pillar pod. The fit is just OK. It does not fit as good as factory but kind a close. When I make it fit on top towards the roof, the bottom doesn’t look good and visa versa. So, I went in-between and it is OK. I don’t think anyone will really notice except us L owners.

But over all, with the gauges in it looks pretty good.

Jim - I just sent mine back today. Hope to have it back next week or the first part of the week after that. If it doesn't fit all that well I may just go with the setup that TBL used in his. I'm only going with two gauges so there are other options.

Rick

How does the fit look to you?

Mine is installed, the base looks OK, the top part near the door is OK BUT the top part next to the window has a gap that I can put my finger in to.

Jim,
I haven't got mine back yet, just returned it yesterday. I can't imagine that mine will fit any better than the one you got. If the fit is that bad I'll order one for a 99 and add a pod kit like the one TBL has in his.

It will be interesting to see how the 3 hole pods they are making for some of the guys turn out.

That's right. You did mention that you just mailed it.

The fit is kind of OK. The gauges look fantastic in the pods.

Let me know when you get yours

I guess I'm not the only one with problems. I bidded on one from Lyle at Lo-Tek on Ebay Auctions. I sent him the money last week with delivery confirmation; which was delivered on Monday. Then he emails me tht he NEVER recieved the money yet!! I guess the name says it all; what a bunch of low-life thieves. Sorry, just had to vent and I'm alittle pi$$ed off right now.

Hey Jim,
When you sent yours back did you insure it and ask for delivery conformation, or did you just mail it back? I've got the receipt where I mailed it back but I didn't ask for conformation that they received it.

Rick

As soon as I opened it up and saw it was wrong, I ran right down to the post office and stuck into the mail. It might have been dumb but I didn't do a thing except pay $3.20 to mail it back.

I also called them and let them know it was on the way.
