Post Boy, I love crusing the Ford R&D lots

Here's what I saw when I went on a secret mission through a Taco Bell lot. This site has no security entry or exit; so, I was a bad boy and found some awsome stuff. There were Taco confiscation warnings everywhere.

1. Taco with...gulp... Taco sauce in it. How do I know? How about a front mounted Taco sauce heat exchanger as well as the monster SuperDuty Taco shell. I saw it; I touched; but, no way to eat it. If you really want a bigger than reg taco, wait, it's coming.

2. Saw a wall lined with about 20 taco shells and what appeared to be about 30 tortillas. Racks of bean dip complete with shredded cheese.

3. Through an open area with a gate, I saw all the workers making tacos; and two in the parking lot taking out taco trash.

Very fun

Yikes BlkSVTTruck !!!
Does anyone want to ADAPT you? I’m afraid to ask…OK what’s so different about MI that some form of adaptation is required? Is it genetic in nature or just some type of superficial thing?

Why that sounds like the back of Dannau Tech Center (Visteon).

And yes folks, the next year Harley FSeries WILL have the 360 hp 5.4L SuperCharged drivetrain. It will be detuned from the L version though.

Cool

Months ago I put up a post that one of my coworkers who told me about his brother in law who works for Ford told him that the Harley Davidson pickup would have a Lightning motor in it. It was funny, cause one of the Ford tech employees on this board IMMEDIATELY denied such a vehicle--hehe, I knew it was reality when he denied it.

I still haven't heard anything about them building the H-D with a Lightning motor, the one they did build is just one of Colletti's toys and not intended for production. We don't have any schedule for transmissions for them.
He also has a Mustang wiht a a Lighting Motor and a 6 speed manual transmission, an Expitdition wiht a Lighting drivetrain and a few other toys he's put the S/C 5.4 in, none of them that Ford ever intends to sell. What i think is most likely to make it to market is a Mustang with a S/C 5.4, but not anytime soon. In '03 the mustang is going to a modified version of the same platform used on the Lincoln LS, Jag S type and new Thunderbird.

November issue of MM & FF reports that the Harley SuperCrew is a go for 2001 or 2002 with a modified 5.4 L. Didn't say it was the L engine, just a modified 5.4
