Bassani Cat-Back users...........
What is the sound difference, louder/quieter, deeper and how much for the cat-back.
Thanks, thought about the Borla but not after reading the article in MM&FF saying its quieter and lost hp and tq.
After the coyote hit, the cat-back is bent and it wont realign in the fairing cut out. I tried everything and it still is barely off of the rear part of the fairing.

Red2000SVT- I have a full Bassani Exhaust system. I've been told by many that the weakness in the factory exhaust is the cats.
What I suggest is the Bassani cat backs and high flow cats, no headers. The sound is excellant with no drone at highway speeds.
The headers only help when you make big hp.
Hope this helps?

bassani cat back only,is just a little louder than stock, but you would lose a few hundreths at the strip. the hi flow cats are JUNK and you will lose a few hundreths, and any shorty header is useless on an L.people need to start telling others how it is.and quit listening to people who are selling this stuffs claims. that said the bassani cat back is nice looking for the street and costs between 600.00 to 7oo.oo. later

Ditto what ib fast said. I had borla's on mine but I totally agreed with MM&FF, they were way too quite and no gain in hp. I don't think your going to get any gain in hp from anyone's exhaust right now. Maybe some long tube headers but there are only a couple people who make them and then they cost about 1K!!! As proof, look at ib fast and my et's, we both are running very quick times with no highspeed exhaust.
I put on the borlas because I wanted the deep, throaty sound that they made on my mustang. I switched to flowmaster 40s with the delta flow technology. I am super happy now, have that deep, low rumble but it is not too loud, can barely notice it in the cab. Good luck, Jeff
