Smile Acquired Lightnings???

Hi all. I was just curious, with the Lightnings running anywhere between $29,000-$35,000+ I was just curious how all of you could afford that plus another vehicle. Basically the question is multiple choice on how you got your L...

(a)Worked Hard for the $ (tell job if you don't mind)
(b)Worked 2 Jobs to support L.
(c) Mommy and Daddy thought I deserved it.
(d) Still selling what little blood I have to make payments every month.

NOTE:This post is strictly for fun, and curious purposes. You DON'T have to responed if you don't want to.

Cool

Forgot to put this in the original post, but, I'll start off by answering this...

Even though I don't have my Lightning YET (pretty soon), I'm a little of (A),(B) and (C) and coming close to (D). And as for (A) and (B) goes, I work(ed) for the L.A.U.S.D., and also for Washington Mutual call center.

Cool

A little of "A" and a little of "B".

Working as a Sys Admin still couldn't get me the L so when my son started school I shipped mama off to the Navy and voila, new truck!

Course since I still am gonna have to buy all the mods, gas & tires I'll probably be at "D" pretty soon (anyone know what the monthly limit pint wise is?

Talking

(a)Worked Hard for the $ (tell job if you don't mind)

I own my own business. Although the 18+ hour days take away from time with the L, it's worth it. We do litigation support for attorneys:
http://www.LitigationDynamicsInc.com

(b)Worked 2 Jobs to support L.

no, but I do sell stuff on ebay a lot to support my mods

(c) Mommy and Daddy thought I deserved it.

A few months before my graduation from college my blue mercury station wagon broke down. My parents offered to buy me a new car for graduation and I got a '97 F-150 4x4 V6 ($16,000). On my graduation day, my dad said he had one more present to give me and whipped out the payment book. Some present.
Anyway, I sold that truck in short order to buy the Lightning.
The way I see it, if I'm paying for it, I might as well get what I want.

(d) Still selling what little blood I have to make payments every month.

Only on occasion. I have to give enough of it away to my doctor for free.

Thumbs up

Nathan, How do you get into the business of web programmer. I know they make pretty good money. And that's all my parents tell me. Is, "I think you missed your calling", meaning I should be in some sort of business where I sit on the computer and mess around with it.

Would like to post my reply but I'm too dizzy to type anything that makes sense - fourth donation in the last week (followed by sound of comatose body hitting floor).
