Question Anyone else not happy with appearance of L upon delivery?

When I picked up my L the other day it was not as clean as I would have liked it to be. I did not mind the soap scum on the windows or the black tire wet that was all over the paint or even the Windex over spray on the doors, dash, and on the outside of the truck. The part that did bother me is the brownish color on the gray dash. It's all over the dash and is very hard to get it out. I don't want to use some kind of cleaner that will make my dash look greasy or all shinny. Did anyone else have this issue and if so how did you go about getting the brown out?

Thanks for any help

John

Make sure when the Ford Survey arrives in the mail that you hit them hard.

No kidding. I just spent 4 hours at the dealership while the detail guy (not the normal carwash clowns but an independent contractor) wet sanded buffed and painted the various scuffs and scratches left by the idiots who "detailed" my truck when I bought it. You would think they washed it with a brillo pad.

Use Armoral Interior/Upholstery cleaner(on all the interior), it will not leave anything on it and will look the way it should.

Funny you should say that FORDSALES about the survey. The whole process of buying my L sucked. From the minute I walked in the dealership and up until I walked out the door with the truck. Right before I left the sales guy said hey they are going to send you a survey. Make sure you fill it out all good because my bonuses and job depends on that. He was telling me not asking me to give him good marks. He can kiss my but. After the way I got treated at the dealer ship. NO WAY. While I was signing all of the paper work the financing manager was on her cell phone with personal calls telling me not to bother reading the stuff I was signing. I just ignored her and made sure I read everything. Also she was like make sure you sign here stating that you did not want the extended warrantee. I said oh really funny it never got offered to me.

Any way just glad I have the truck and don't have to take it back to that dealer to have it serviced. Just gotta find a dealer in my area that is good.

Sorry for the long post. Just venting.

Thanks

John

Raggedy sales people!!!
I bought my L and got who-dooed!! After arguing over the value of my trade-in for 30 minutes, they finally went from $2K up to $5K on a 1995 Dodge 1500 Laramie full size!! Then after I signed all the paperwork they brought a little sticky note over on my contract that said the front bumper had been repainted because it was scratched while being unloaded from the carrier!?! Long story short, the sales people were a joke (maybe all Ford's Sales People have A$$hole training? :-) ) Truck made up for bad salesmanship. Best vehicle I've ever owned and turns heads of the young and old.
I also had to have mine wet-sanded and buffed to remove some factory (?) flaws of a fingerprint in the hood, trash in both doors, black overspray under the bottom of hood, and a terrible touch-up spot over left quarter.
Bought Aug. 5 with 9 miles, today Oct. 5 I have 3300 miles....
