Personally I like the fact that I have both a Lightning and a Corvette, that way I can get bashed from both groups.

 

And I just added to it.

Why do most people driving cars like this think that everything else out on the road is a POS? Too much $$, and not enough common courtesy, I guess.

nobody ever wins these debates..having both flavors I must comment that most vet owners choose not to believe that a factory pickup can perform at this level.
However when my C4/C5/ZR1 vet buddies ride with me in the L; they soon change their opinions...

You're right on all accounts, Randy.

It's not just Vette owners, either. You find it everywhere. No one respects the guys who pour their blood, sweat and tears into a hot-rod...no matter what the brand.

It's not about brand-loyalty anymore (which is nothing more than just one's own tastes/likes/dislikes)...its about bashing other people's stuff b/c they didn't make the same choice I did. That's silly, IMHO.

I agree with you.I love fast vehicles and i have alot of respect for each and every one of them.It does feel good to win a race though.These Vette guys should be proud to beat a Lightning cause it isnt a very easy thing to do.But on the same token they should respect it as well.
