Angry misaligned cab and bed + other things

Confirmed something disturbing on my L today.
Noticed a few weeks ago that my pass. side front wheel sticks out from the fender about half inch or so more than the other side.Thought originally that it was the alignment, since of course like all of these things it needs one,but I was installing thunderforms subs in it today and noticed the rear cab mount bolts under the carpet were misaligned in their counter sunk location. Both bolts shifted to the pass. side exactly about a half inch. This to me confirms the fact that cab is misaligned on frame ,and in looking at the bed it is also misaligned (bed is perfect to cab). This is very annoying as you can imagine and was wondering if any of you guys have noticed this on your L's.I was also wondering if by loosening all six bolts that hold cab to the frame if it could be pushed over easily with two people pushing,or will I need a lift.I can live with this being off if I have to ,its not that noticable except to me,but would like to get it right.

Second thing, any of you notice the clearcoat on the paint that Ford uses doesn't seem to be very resistant to pollutants from the atmosphere. I keep my paint clean and protected and try to keep rain and water from drying on paint from the sun,but sometimes you cant get out and wipe it down everytime.I am starting to notice some slight pitting and acid type rain marks on surface of paint.I have owned several Fords, mustangs,Lincolns, and they all had the same crap clearcoat.I have noticed this on alot of Fords lately. What gives? My brother has a camaro z that has been sitting outside for the three years he has owned it and the paint is like a mirror, perfect.Whatever company Ford uses to make their clearcoats they should stop and buy the stuff GM uses, its much better and stronger, but that might cost Ford a dollar more.Hope to hear from you guys out there.

Cool

You don't have where you live on your signiture, but I live in So. Fla. and my truck has to sit outside all day at work. It is garage kept at night but all the damage is obviously done during the day.

My paint (black) looked like sh*t the first week I had the darn thing. I was told not to wax it for about thirty days and by the time I did, it had all kinds of crap marks on it/in it.

Just got my new Cobra style hood and am having it painted along with a Sir Michaels roll pan and a smooth cowl. I think I'm just going to have the whole truck wet sanded (got to get rid of that nasty orange peel) and repainted with a couple layers of clearcoat. Havn't talked to a p/b man yet so I'm not final on it yet, but that's the direction I'm headed.

My cab & bed are aligned perfectly.

Hey Galaxy,
The TSB was on the front end alignment fix the result was the "look". Can't remember the TSB but know it's avail on the government safety Technical service bulletin site, sorry I forgot the URL. Anybody remember the TSB? I'm almost positive it's in a past post.

Cool

Mine too!
My front right tire is outside also, due to the front end alignment required to get rid of the pulling some Ls had. There is a TSB on it. Not real noticable, but I know it! My cab is ok, but bed sits a little off to the left when looking at the rear. Biggest really noticable is the front bumper gap,.5" on one side 1.5" on the other!!

Question

Do you happen to know the TSB number?
