Angry Need Help

My truck has been in the shop for a week now, real bummer. To replace the intercooler they have to replace 11 bolts, part# N606500100, but the are on back order from Ford. I have several people trying to locate some for me from various dealerships. I think 2 have been found in Texas. If anyone can help me locate these things please email me or post something.

On another note, I had to have everything in my rear end replaced except the ring&pinion. It was completely shot!! The mechanic said there was a shim floating in gear oil when he opend it up. I only have a little over 24k on this truck, what up with that.

Welcome to the club. This truck is starting to make me nervous. Mine has been at the dealership for 11 days and counting.

Wait till you here my story! Back in June I took my truck in for a new intercooler because it was leaking they told me 1 week for it to come in.It never did they then told me it was on back order for 2 more weeks so I waited patiently for 2 weeks still no intercooler. They then told me on a weekly basis not sure why it is not there must be backordered from SVT longer than they thought originally.By now it has been a total of 5 weeks still no intercooler.I have a friend who works in the body shop at this dealership who got tired of seeing my truck out back enclosed behind the building and asked the service guy why my truck has been there so long his reply to him was waiting for a intercoller. That day my friend went into his computer and located me one and had it there in 2 days. The day before the cooler came in there was a severe storm that went through that night and my truck received lots of flying debee damage. So they called me to come down and look at the truck it had stone and glass chips throughout the whole truck. They told me it was my responsibility for repainting my truck from the storm damage even though it was on there lot stored in fence that was locked up behind the building.I call my adjuster and he said we are responsible for the storm damage. They go ahead and put in intercooler and new plugs and new o2 sensors since then no problems with truck.Total time without truck was 6 WEEKS!I am just now getting my truck repainted because my bodyman was backed up for 3 months it was worth the wait I went out to see the new paint and it looked great! Now waiting for my window tint.My truck should be ready this friday!

High Roller,

OMG, I would not be a happy camper. At least your buddy is hooking you up with some QUALITY body work.

good news!!!!

Intercooler was replaced!!!!

They didn't replace the plugs. No big deal as a set of NGK's are going in ASAP! I guess I'll see how friggin hard this really is.....

As I caught the leak early (thanks to this board), they didn't replace the O2 sensors under warranty. We'll see what transpires...

Going to pick it up this afternoon then it is Johnny Lightning Ram Air time Bay-Beee..

This weekends projects (in that order):

1. JL Ram Air
2. NGK Plugs
3. Zaino (it needs some TLC after a week at the big bad dealership surrounded by all those sick cars)

WhiteSVTlight, its at Covert Ford. If you ever go there, talk to Mike in the service dept. He is a fellow L owner (gen 1).
