I'd be careful with that 8lber. 6lber and good custom tune will be a good kick in the pants compared the 4lber with canned tune..
If your looking at your next mod, I would personally go with the FTVB. It'll be llike driving a whole different truck...

Did you ever use the HP4 tune with the 4lb pulley? If not, try that with the 4lb pulley you already have. I am telling you that you will be pleasantly surprised at how much it wakes up the truck.

Something to keep in mind is that the torque reduction is turned off in the HP4 tune so as mentioned in an ealier post you should replace the valve body. I do not know much about that power valve you referred to but I can tell you that the valve body will help reduce the wear and tear on the transmission and the difference in shifting is night and day.

If you decide to step up to a 6lb or 8lb pulley, my advice is that you should contact the person that will be tuning your truck and discuss any mods that they feel will be necessary to take that next step. You indicated that you were going to use PSP. Then call Sal and talk to him regarding what mods you need to support a 6/8lb pulley. The bottom line for me is if I lived as close to PSP as you do, I would already be tuned by Sal.

Just my 2 Cents.

I agree with the above, drop the 8 to a 4 lower and get a great tune from Sal, Jim or John they can all set you up, trust everyone on this the money you spend on a tune will net you more HP and just might save your motor.

Sure, scroll up to the right corner of this web page. There is a tab "Site Sponsors". Click on it and then scroll down to the supporting vendors. There are links to their websites, phone numbers, ect ect...Everything you are looking for.....
