Question Anyone running a Pro-Torque Convertor or other bransd?

Hey All,
Already checked the FAQs. Not much info for the amount of gains they avertise.
Is anyone currently or has run an aftermarket torque convertor? Brand?
What results did you get? 1/4 mile results before and after?
Warranty issues, if the L has to be taken in?
You know. "THE FACTS MAN, JUST THE FACTS!!"
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Dan

I put a precision industries torque converter
in my L and my 60ft. time was a tenth faster
than stock but I lost a tenth at the other
end.Result:NO GAIN!I sent it back for them to
make some modifications they thought would
work.Result:NO GAIN!It felt like when driving
the brakes were being applied gently or some
kind of resistance was there! Also at wide open throttle the truck would feel like it was going in and out of lockup.I really believe they do work well mine just was the
wrong application for my truck!I just ordered
a pro torque for my L last week let you know
the results when I go to the track.

HIGH ROLLER-
I am very interested in the results of the pro torque convertor as this one is my choice also. Someone already has tested this convertor for the company and run .4-.5 tenths quicker and lowered 60ft time by .20 tenths.
What did you have to give for it?
Email me wih your results:

Thanks,

Dan I have Pro Torque.....best time before installation 13.25(Sears Point)...60ft 1.9......... 5 runs since installation best time 13.45(Sears Point)... 60ft 2.0 This is partially subjective as all Pro Torgue runs have been @80-90 degrees. 13.2 was @55 degrees. So far I am disappointed I have not gotten better 60ft times. Running M/T ET Steets. Power braked anywhere from 2k rpm to 3k rpm (which is about the limit). Shifts are no longer hard as they were before. Maybe a a Level 10 shift kit is needed. Last night I ran both Superchips R9 and PSP with PSP program giving me the 13.6 to R9's 13.74(Sacramento Raceway)80-90 degrees...60ft 2.04. My email is idg@home.com if you have other questions.
