Question Trans slipping or tire spin??

Nailed the L tonight from a 30 mph roll, it redlined and shifted to 2nd, the tach jumped from 3800 to 4200 twice (back and forth) and felt like the trans was slipping. I let off and cruised on. At the next stop, I left hard from 0 mph and spun the tires through 1st, when it shifted it felt the same way again but I stayed in it. It shifted at redline and I let off and pulled in my driveway. I could not hear the tires spinning once it shifted, but could this be it or do I have something about to hit the ground?
Thanks,
Ryan

I know I can drop the hammer at a 10-25mph roll and it will downshift it acts/sounds like it smokes the tires but dose not, it feels more like the tranny is slipping. I have had a freaky trany sence day one tho. It will do this on demand from a 10-25mph roll, every NOW and then from a stop. Oh I did bring it to the dealer and I was told it cant be the trany becuase these tranys can not slip- I said bul**** to the techs face, the service writers said that any trany can slip( he was on my side) so the dealer will just put can not duplicate the problem. oh well i hope it breaks before the warrenty is up. Never know what kind of deal i can get on a 2000 anyway?
