THE STICKER ON THE RADIATOR SUPPORT SAYS 5W30. THE OWNERS MANUAL SAYS 5W30, BUT THE CAP ON THE MOTOR SAYS 5W20. I KNOW THE CAP IS A MISPRINT. ARE ALL THE L'S LIKE THIS?

Mine doesn't say anything but "MOTOR OIL".

I saw a cap on a new Escape that said 5W20. Maybe someone switched it on ya.

 

I took it to the dealer on Friday for a door panel replacement and while I was there I mentioned the oil cap. After much discussion and checking service manuals they finally told me it had the wrong cap and changed it for one that says "engine oil"
