Hi Ray,

I bought my wife a '00 Expy and did the Lightning front bumper and grill set up. I still retained the stock running boards b/c I have two little kids, but Ford does have some much better contoured running boards I may look into. While they are not the fancy side valances that the prototype Thunder has, they tuck up nicely on the sides and make for a very clean truck.

I also have only done a few minor mods to the truck, so it is not fast or anything like that. We think it looks neat, though.

Feel free to take a look at: http://members.aol.com/Wa2fsT/Expy.html

There's a black Expy running around the Tampa/Clearwater area that has been converted (blower, NOS, chip, filter, exhaust). Almost as good as an L but I think it weighs too much. This guy will give you a good run for your money.
