Cool Electric Fan Install !

just got finished installing a electric fan by..Interactive Systems! i ordered the super cool! 2,800 cfm. i had to make some brackets since this was for a mustang..but really wasn't too bad. it just took awhile to wire the thing up..you do have to drill and tap the thermostat housing.i didn't like that to much but i got it.maybe there is a easier way to hook up a coolant temp. switch.all in all it took around 4 hrs. and i must say this thing don't even think about getting warm. i let idle with a/c on for about 20 min. came on and off perfectly..Man O Man was the stock fan heavy! oh yea all i did was un screw the stock fan off the shaft easy! didn't have to take off no belts or nothing.i'll keep every one posted on the performance should help since the stock fan weighed around 100# felt like it any way!...JL

Bulldog

I really did not notice much e.t gain from it.At the most maybe 1/2 a tenth in the quarter.I have not dynoed it with the T.B on the truck.I would use the money for a Johnny Lightning switch chip for about the same money and probley gain 5 to 7 tenths on your E.T.
