Stripes or no Stripes???? Pics

I need some opinions. Leave the stripes or take them off? They came with the truck. I have a new hood that I have to put on and a hard bed cover also. They are also on the roof.

From: Colorado,
I like accent's on our trucks. I happen to like the white stripes the way they are on Rob's truck where they follow threw. But they need to follow threw and come down the bumper for my taste on yours.

Looks like someone did a nice job but for some reason the way it lay's on top doesn't flow right. Makes it look like its wider instead of lean and mean.

I like ghost flames and all types of accents. I suppose it's something you get used to. It could grow on me after awhile though.

If it were mine I would leave it until it got chipped up or needed to be redone. Since you have plans to change things. I would experiment. Some of these guys do a great photo chop that might help.

No offense intendid. Kind like asking some stranger if he thinks your girlfriend is pretty. "Touchy subject"

Can't go wrong when your hanging on to a foundation like an "L"

Thanks for the input. Yeah I dont like how they stop short on the hood and also dont go down the front and rear bumper also. They will be coming off in the spring.

They do look pretty good for not going all the way down.

also looks like the previous owner rehung the bumper to close up alot of the gap between the bumper and the grill surround.

Yeah, I think it will be too much work to do the new hood and bed cover to match the stripes to the roof and tailgate. Plus I need to do something with the front bumper becuase they had a plate there. 2 3/8 inch holes.

Like others say take them all the way down to the front edge.
The Euro Ford R/S paint scheme uses white with blue stripes.

From 4000 miles away - keep them

i actually really like how they end short on the hood, they might be the best looking vinyl stripes i've seen on a L so far

Your killing me Ricki and kwilt............ Everyone keeps telling me that stripes went out in the 90's. It would be too much work to put the matching stripes on the new hood and bed cover. It prob would not match seeing I dont know who did the original job.

They look good to me. Although I think striping needs to be tapered down some more in the front. Looks great.
