went to mid michigan motorplex tonight and got a new best of 12.968 106.09 60 ft 1.888 and 1/8th of 8.32 it was 50 degrees and i had the splitfires in,but without changing plugs at the strip i can't say how much they helped. only that the assometer says they do.so how many of us have hit the twelves without the juice and whos next? with this fall air theres bound to be others soon.later

I don't know if I'll ever see 12s with mine. Maybe when the temperature drops to 35 degrees, and I get a 60 mph tail-wind.

IB_Fast, did you state you had "splitfires"? Are you talking about the spark plugs? It seems so.

If so, I have to tell you that I bought a set of those and installed them, and they where a total disaster. This was for a '91 Dakota under warranty. Truck ran okay at first. Then the performance got so bad the truck would hardly run. Truck was in and out of shop with Dodge replacing everything they could think of. They finally figured out it was the crappy splitfire plugs. Must of cost Dodge a small fortune.

Great Times, I hope you can get similiar conditions to try out the torquemasters.
Your 60 ft. looks great too, let me know difference in traction when you try out new plugs.

hey all ,yes it is a thrill to finally see a twelve anything on a time slip.these trucks are even more awesome in cold air. and yes i will be taking out the splitfires and replacing with tourqemasters,hopefully by friday and will try them out at either us 131 dragway friday night or lapeer on saturday or sunday. i had a slight miss with the stock plugs and its worse since the splitfires.probably a bad coil from leaving ice on intake all summer.
