xylene in your gas

How many of you out there are running xylene in your gas tanks? I know the turbo buick guys do it with success and I have heard it works good to clean your fuel system. I have also heard that running sea-foam in your vacuum line can cause burnt valves. thanks for the input.

I've used it from time to time. No problems here. Just make sure you add some Marvel Mystery Oil to the mix.

You get 99 octane lead-free fuel by mixing 1 gallon of xylene to 3 gallons of premium gas (93octane). Like it was stated above you will need to add approx 1oz of Marvel Mystery Oil due to the lack of lubricant in Xylene. I've done this for years in my Grand National will excellent results. Xylene is a component of gasoline as is toluene so you arent introducing any foreign substances. The xylene will also keep your fuel system clean. You do not want to use anymore than 1 gallon Xyl to 3 gallons gas.
