Stock air filter part number (not that anyone really cares but....)
Ok,
In the process of returning my L to stock trim, sans chip-n-filter, I had to buy a replacement stock filter.
Why did I do this you ask? Because I don't want Cooter and Gomer monkeying with my aftermarket goods (which are for sale by the way at a reduced price) https://www.f150online.com/f150board...ML/006028.html as it is going in for Intercooler replacement.
When I originally had it in for the dye test, they called and said "Your truck doesn't have an intercooler." Yes, they are an SVT dealer.
need I say more....
Anyway, back the point. The SVT addendum to our owners manual calls for part number FA-1634. When Pep Boys looked this up, it came up as a lower ball joint..hmmmm Enough "deer in the headlights look" from Manny, Moe, and Jack.
Ok, I tried Autozone, they called up their "douche" brand and it looked like some industrial version of said brand name. UH..NO.
On to Napa. Only after taking the damn box in, having Enos measure it, cross-reference the measurements and test fit SEVERAL sizes, did we find the correct one(s). Didn't get Motorcraft PN, too tired.
