Did you change "ALL" the plugs or just #5 ???
If you only changed #5 COMPLETE the job and your truck will run normal
again, then you need to figure out why it happen ???

Clean and check the IAC, most likely cause of idle problems.

It is the shiny gadget on the passenger side of the intake plenum. Usually a carb cleaner wash gets these things going for a while, sometimes it just needs replacement. It needs to be removed in order to clean it. Wouldn't hurt to include a fuel filter change as well. If that fails, on to the plugs and checking coil packs.

Let the truck sit overnight and open the gas cap before filter removal and you'll only need one shop rag on the frame rail under the filter to absorb the couple drips that will come out of the lines. You'll get more fuel spill from tilting the fuel filter then out of the lines. Might wanna put your oil pan under there just incase you tilt the filter and spill the gas out of it.

Yes, it's about the size of a tomato paste can and is on the left of the upper plenum as you face the truck. It's common for it to get carboned up and it needs to be cleaned or replaced if cleaning doesn't solve the problem. All EFI engines need the IAC cleaned from time-to-time but our Ls need it more than most.

Do a "search" on here and you'll find everything you need to know about the IAC valve including photos:where it is, what it does, and how to clean and/or replace it.

When you hurt (break, melt, or damage) "1" plug, you most likely hurt MORE Complete the Job meant --> CHANGE ALL PLUGS <-- sorry I didnt explain better
