I HAVE LOOKED AT BOTH THOSE ARTICLES BUT THE PROBLEM I HAVE IS THAT THERE IS NO SWITCH AT THE END OF THE WIRES; THE WIRES ARE JUST LOOSE. ANY SUGESTIONS! I HAVE ALREADY LEFT A MESSAGE AT SWANSON PERFORMANCE, SO IF I DON'T GET ANY HELP TONIGHT, I WILL JUST WAIT TO HEAR BACK FROM THEM.

Coil the wires up and tape them to the computer.

Hey SC007SVT-I also got the Swanson chip. Just tape up each wire separately, then tape together. I believe they are how he programs the chip. Just CLEAN the connact points carefully and thourghly. If your eyes are "ageing" use a magnifing glass. Tape the chip to the computer then get ready to grin Like never before. Hope this helps

SC007SVT,
The chip you have, assuming it is about 2 inches across, is the latest and greatest on the market. Even if it is approximately 4 inches across it is cutting edge technology.
Let's get to your question..... no the 4 wires are not how Danny programs the chip nor anybody else. If you need or require multiple programs for your chip this is where the switch would be attached. I'm sure you only have one program right now. Just wrap them up and tape them down, nothing to it.
Be sure to scrape the contacts good on the PCM but be carefull you don't scrape too much.
If you are still unsure or not comfortable just call Danny. See URL below.

Thanks for all the information. I put the chip on last night and noticed a big difference. Yes,I am smiling big. Next, will be ported throtle body, ported heads, and then maybe a new exhaust. I will probably have to wait till I get my tax return early next year.
Hey,make sure the 2 wires you tape up cant touch each other,If they do you'll have trouble.I didnt and had to call Danny. It was my fault, also clean very well.I love the performance of the chip though.Have Fun!
