o.k. i left the setting as is. but now i have a new question. how is the gauge supposed to read? is it supposed to read lean at idle ( i would imagine ) and then read rich under acceleration. mine kinda jumps back and fourth sometimes jumping really deep into the lean area at idle. i imagine this is just the way the computer is regulating the idle. also by the way, what is an optimum reading for WOT shouldn't it be around 11.5 or something?
sorry, all this a/f stuff is new to me. i'm used to carb's and not having to use this fancy stuff.

The settings in the back allow you to change from an A/F reading (0) to LAMBDA (1), Setting 2 allows for a 1-2v range, setting 3 allows for autronic wideband emulation, and setting 4 allows your output to emulate a narrowband sensor. You will see your reading go lean at idle and cruise/partiual throttle, this is normal, stoich ratio at partial throttle is 14.7:1, and ive seen this number vary on quite a few different cars, my talon for example cruises at 16:1. Wide open throttle however is different, that is what really matters, definatly want to be at 12:1 or lower depending on the tune, boost, leaded/unleaded fuel used. Fuels other than gasoline are a different ball game.
