Got your e-mail

Jim,

Good job on finding this lil gem! I'll take 2.

Let me know what the price will be. You can ship them to me at:
As soon as the company gets back to me with a break down of the pricing, I'll let everyone know.

FORDSALES - This looks very interesting but I want to make sure I have this right. From what I read, this isn't going to do much for the everyday guy that is driving his L on the street, right? It looks like this is intended for those that keep the throttle embedded in the carpet 1/4 mile at a time. If that is the case, wouldn’t the standard A/F gauge would be a good choice for day to day driving and this a better choice for those that run more at the track or have more places to run WOT? To be honest, around here the WOT blasts are short and sweet due to the traffic and I don’t get to the track very often.

Close or totally out in the weeds?

From what I read on the company's web site, that is exactly why this A/F gauge was develop.

Go take a look why the developer designed their gauge http://www.gadgetseller.com/gauges/

I am an everyday driver and to me I don't worry about how the L is running at idle or just cruising down the street. If it's a little rich or lean, I don't think the engine will be hurt. It's when you give it a lot of throttle or go to WOT that there could be harm to the engine and that is what I want to watch. If I'm going to spend $$$ on something, I want to be useful.

Here is the pricing for A/F Gauges along with a note from the manufacturer.

If you are going to order, e-mail me and let me know your order is on it's way. Mail it to Jim Shaw, 18801 Thornwood Cir., Huntington Beach, CA 92646. Make your check out to Gadgetseller

Following is a note from the manufacturer

I saw someone ask what the gauge will do for an everyday street driver. The gauge will only give the person a way to see that they have a safe fuel mixture while at full throttle. If injectors begin to clog, fuel pump starts to die, etc.... they will know immediately when the gauge begin reading leaner. The gauge is excellent for anyone that has any type of control over their fuel mixture perhaps with a fuel controller. Some people just alter their mass air sensors to give the mixture they want. Many cars are extremely rich from the factory for the extra safety margin.

Azeem

You are correct. In fact I was think about that today after I posted his prices last night. It did seem too high. Mine came and it did not cost $10.00.

I'll contact the company and see if there was a goof on their part or mine. I'll get back.

Question

Jim:

Thanks for your effort with this... just a nit:

$10 shipping for each Gauge?
Or $10 shipping for all Gauges? (and then we divide by the total number.)

$10 for each gauge doesn't make sense... the web site say $5 shipping per gauge... $10 almost wipes out the "group buy" discount?!

Corrected prices from the manufacturer

The prices are correct. Just tell everyone shipping is free to keep things simple as long as there are 6 or more shipped to one location. $77 Autometer and $57 Intellitronix
If your are going to order, please e-mail me that you are. So that I can keep track.

Thanks

Hi, those of you interested in the special A/F gauges. I won't be able to handle the group buy. So the owner has set a special web page and prices for the group purchase. Go take a look.

Hi. This is Mike Koraido the owner of Gadgetseller.com I have been informed by Jim Shaw that he will be out of town for a while and will not be able to manage the group purchase or the modified air/fuel gauges. I have created a page that is not linked to my main web-site that includes discounted prices for everyone that wanted in on the group purchase. The gauges can be ordered on-line using a credit card on this page.
http://gadgetseller.com/gauges/f150.htm
Just place the orders here and it will be much simpler for everyone. Thanks for your interest in my gauges.

Hi All,
As noted a couple weeks back, I would like to see the newly created "Group Purchases" forum be the discussion spot for this stuff. As there are only a handful of these discussions going on right now, they should be much more visible for everyone.

Here is a direct link to the forum... https://www.f150online.com/cgi-bin/f...=30&LastLogin=
