Today I went to get in my Lightning and noticed one of the fog lamps was cracked through the center. Then I checked the other fog lamp and WOW! It too had an identical crack in the exact same place. Since no two rocks or U.F.Os could duplicate this, I need to know if this is covered under warranty?????

I had one fog light replaced for a cracked lens, and the other replaced because of moisture inside the light. Both replaced under warranty.

I just checked my lightning and I have a cracked foglight also. Hopefully, the dealer will replace it under warranty. Keep us updated.

 

videoman, I had the same problem. They covered one under warranty, but not the other. Who knows? Dealerships are weird.

 

When I showed the dealer my fog lights,
he said it was probably caused by
hitting the front skirt on something.
Therefore no waranty.

Go to the FAQ. Copy all of SVT Girls thread and take to dealership with your complaint. I got two for free. I don't think they are any good. First they don't put out hardly any light, Second, I think they brake when they are hot and get hit by water, and third their location is a magnate for rocks. Replace them, buy covers, and don't use them.
Or remove the new ones and use the holes to duct air to your filter.
