I agree we should hit the road by Noon. Mapquest lists the time as 2.5 hours from Balch Springs.

I dont plan on eating at Sonic. If we miss anyone they can send me a page to 888-468-5314. And I will call them back.

Even better. I don't care to eat there, either. I seriously doubt it will take 2.5 hrs to travel ~130 miles, but again...we don't know what we'll hit in the way of construction out on I-20.

If we want to get out of there by 11:45, that's good with me.

Not knowing what traffic and contruction will be like I usually average ( with the help of V1 ) less than 50 sec per mile. If anyone has a CB I will be bringing the mobile one I bought at SA Rally. I will have it on Channel 4.

Wes and anyone else who wants to eat once we hit Longview - I'm told that THE place to eat in Longview is Bodacious BBQ. Supposed to be well worth the trip and reasonably priced. Having worked in a BBQ joint in high school I'm not the world's biggest BBQ fan, but if it's that good.....
