why would no fuel come out of the schrader when he is turning the ignition? i would think more fuel would come out. i really have no clue just trying to use some tommy logic, maybe there is a short or something in the ignition and when you turn on the key it is cutting off the pumps.
probably a little hard to hear the pumps when turning over the motor, but is the pumps still a pumpin when your brother was turning the key?

as i already told Sal, if the tank has to be dropped im going with a short tank and a new fuel system!!
i just ordered a mechanical fuel preasure gauge to mount outside the truck.. should be here on friday so until then with no fuel preasure gauge there is not much i can do.. the theft light blinks normal when the key is on it stays an for a bit and shuts off everything else is normal..
i wont be able to pinpoint fuel or ignition until i get the gauge installed on friday..
please keep your suggestions coming!!!

THat is the resistor I am talking about. It might not look bad, but could be bad. What you want to do is install a jumper wire to bypass it. What that will do is have both of you pumps get full voltage and run at max. If the truck starts then my guess would be that the resistor is bad. Hope this helps you out.
