I think they are closed this weekend, getting ready for the NHRA Big Boys. I wanted to do our meet there but couldn't on Saturday so we moved to Hallsville, Texas instaed. They might be open on Friday but for sure are closed Sat. and Sun.
Come join us at Hallsville, should be about 15 Lightning's there this Saturday afternoon.

Mark, I'm like Doug and need my beauty rest, but if you can join us Saturday for the Hallsville run it should be a good trip and some good racing. I hear it's a really nice track.

 

Yes, its a neat track. What's so nice is 1) its small 2) when I've been there, the track was prepped VERY well 3) there are lots of E. TX trees giving you shade in the pit area.

The only drawback is the pit area is mostly gravel/compacted dirt/grass.

But, its much better than any other small track I've been to here in north TX, and it hooks better than the Texas Motorplex or Houston Raceway.
