My front shock started leaking a few weeks ago. 3 weeks ago I went to dealer. They made finding the part a 3 week process. But the good news is that the $45.00 part is replaced and it handles a lot better now....

The tech listed "Porosity at left Front Shock " As the Cause. If the Shock strut really has a porosity problem in the casting then other shocks willl likely fail as well. I did X ray inspection of Aircraft parts for 10 years, and I never saw porosity in only one part, it was usually a function of the metal formula or condition....
