Man I was considering selling my 99 Lightning but finally got the thing to perform like I knew it could! I got the pro m maf from the group purchase and man it helped. Also have the superchip trac program. Running on MT et streets. Ran it through the quarter with my g tech and got a best time of 13.29 @ 108. I kinda doubted the time so I got the 00 corvette out to race it against. The Lightning did have the advantage of the mt tires and the corvette on stock run flats. The Lightning jumped ahead right off the line like I figured it would. Damn I couldnt catch it till 90 and then only beat it by about 2 lengths. Wow. Man I am impressed. I had the g tech in the vette for this run and turned a 12.95 @ 117.5. I have the six speed with a rm twin flow intake with cat back exhaust and maf housing ends. In the eigth mile the Lightning would have won. I do suspect with drag radials on the vette it would have helped a length or two . I can see how some guys are beating the C5's with their Lightnings. This pickup really impresses me. Now if only I could find someone around here to race me! I dont know if my boost gauge is accurate but I can only pull 8 lbs of boost. I kind of hope it is accurate cause then with more boost I just might be in the 12's. Whoopie!!! Sorry for the long post but I am really in a good mood with the way it performs now.
