Thank you everyone. This is a very sad time for me. My cousin Randy was just 23. I grew up with him and have roomed with him for the last 4 years. His girlfriend Shelly is gonna pull through. She has 3rd degree burns on her arms and legs, broke arm, blown out knee, numerous cut and bruses. As far as the accident goes it was unavoidable for them. A Ford explorer went into a ditch and overcorrected which brought them back across the highway into their lane. Randy applied brakes and went as far as he could on the shoulder but the Explorer struck his 99 Chevy truck and flipped both vehicles over. His truck immediatly cought fire in the ditch. A passing car stopped within less than a minute and cut Shelly from the burning truck with a pocket knife. They drug her 20ft or so from the burning truck and then went back for Randy. This is were it gets bad, the truck exploded and there was nothing anyone could do. Randy parished along with his truck and a couple of hundred feet of grass. The man rescuing them also recieved minor burns to face and arms. Its such a great loss for so so many people. This was hard for me to type but I felt it was neccesary to let everyone know whats up. In the blink of an eye this could have happend to any one of us, or someone else we love. Dont put of telling someone you love them or just letting them know how much they mean to you. And most of all, if your not saved or dont even know what that means, I urge you to pick up a Bible, read the book of John, ask friends questions, dont be afraid to look into the evidence. I pray you come to have a saving faith and knowledge in the Lord, Savior and the creator of all things, Jesus Christ. Thank you for all of your prayers and kind words. God bless you.

 

I am sorry for your lose. This will be a trying time for you but remember to lean not on your own understanding and that we are only here for a season. Cherish the moments you had with your cousin and he will be with you in your heart.
