To those of you who have experienced fuel pump problems. Do you wait until the tank is almost empty before refueling, or do you do it beteen 1/4 and 1/2 or so? Since the fuel pump is in the tank, it is depending on being submersed in fuel to keep it cool when running. Once the fuel level gets down so far, then the pump will not be covered, and it may overheat, thus causing a failure. Especially if you refuel like this most of the time. Just a thought....Also, I thought these things had dual fuel pumps. If so, wouldn't one be enough to get home on?

Follow up:

I ot the L back today at lunch. the fuel pump was replaced, they "found" the intercooler and added the dye so as to test for leaks.

They instructed me to "run it with boost a few times" my retort: "are you sure?!, it gets loud and kinda scares me when i do that ."

Thanks for the replies.

I GOTTA PUT MY CHIP BACK IN. I can really tell the difference without it.
