I just ordered a 2001 L. Wondering now about bed options. Mine will be a daily driver, so I will be shopping, etc. with it. I thought the snuglid was a goodlooking way to lock things up, given the small interior cab. I ordered my L in silver. Does the snuglid come in factory matching colors? How heavy is it, as I don't want to slow my L down too much and I will prolly want to take the lid off eventually to do some hauling.

I have a Snuglid the fit is great, Color is a match. It takes two people to take it off, due to size I think I could handle the weight but it doesn't slow me down. Just a little better traction.

I have a Silver y2k L like yourself. I had the Snuglid lo profile installed along with the Bedrug and I absolutely love it!!!

Snuglid uses Ford paint. The dealer you buy it from should give the Ford Paint Code # (It's inside the door) and they match the paint perfectly. Order the CLAMP-ON attachment system, that way no holes need to be drilled. Snuglid also "carpeted" the underside to match the bedrug.
It's like having the worlds biggest and most plush trunk ever. You can't go wrong with the Snuglid and Bedrug combo.

I have silver with Snuglid - Bedrug as well... I didnt use the clamp system after hearing complaints about fit and that it moved after install...

But Koboiashi is right the combo is sharp either way

In my opinion, there is nothing cleaner than a lined Snuglid and Bedrug combo. Order one in time to put it on when the truck arrives!!!!!!!!!!
