Looks like the red truck won both races. He definitely got the win light in the race against the True Blue but I couldn't tell in the first video. Close races nonetheless.

the red truck is mine,,,,the silver truck ran a 11.15 in the race i posted,,,,the blue one ran a best of 11.2 (with no nitrous) and mine ran a 11.0

the whipple truck ran the fastest mph and the quickest E.T.

i had to crack the throttle on every run,,,,if you watch the videos again you will see the red truck had some weird stuff happening off the line.

i really hope this doesnt come off like im trying to bash the kb,,,im not,,,the cowmans truck was spining the blower slower then i was(thats why waxed him so easily,,lol) but the silver one was spinning it just as hard as i was.

im not sure the big kb reacts like the whipple when you turn up the spin

im sure these trucks will have a few more heads up races (they both are my best racin buddies),,,well maybe not now

when jim comes out im sure its gonna be fun

Whipple Vs. KB

I owned both Whipple and KB last year and experienced rotor problems with both.
KB.....rotors locked against case....Kenne Bell replaced immediately no problem.
Whipple... rotors chipped did not lock up. Whipple replaced immediately.
No problem with either KB or Whipple...both have excellent customer service and warranty departments.

Nice runs Lquick, I see the red truck has more in it based on what appears to be a hesitation then the truck hits hard and spins a little, once thats dialed et will pick up for sure. BTW, what was the d.a. and the mph for the 3 trucks? Goodluck with your launch issue.

im not sure what the da was,,,but the track is like 1500 feet above sea level,,,,the track was not sticky at all,,,,the silver truck was pulling 1.4 60's two days before,,,,that day it could only pull 1.6's

we also had very strong head winds

my truck was only hesitating because i was lifting and searching for grip with the throttle,,,,i only had a 1.8 60' on that run with the silver truck ,,,but i was realing him in

the best mph was 122.789,,,that was me

Here is my replay.
On Saturday 12-2-06, the SOCALOC got together at Fontana Raceway
for their Street Race test and tune. They limit the number of cars to 400.
We had a good turn out with about 15 Lightnings.
We had two Kenne Bell 2.6, Dante built motor Lightnings and one
Whipple, JLP built motor Lightning.
All the are trucks are street legal at about 4400-4500#s
These are some of the top trucks here in Calia without NOS.

Now everyone says the true test is on the drag strip.
Run what you got, a win is a win, so no times are given.
The Whipple powered truck did good but lost 3 out of 3 races.
To bad his best pass had a -.003 light.
The Whipple was making 25#s boost in the morning runs.

Yes there is video.

There are exceptions but one thing I've noticed is that the mph is typically a little higher with the whipple. Around these parts anyway. Seems like with my 2.3 kb it hangs with the whip up to 18#s anything north of 18 and the whippy starts to shine.
